Training Future Custodians of Wildlife
So far in 2025, the Wildlife Center of Virginia has welcomed 57 students from 20 states and five countries: Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. These students work alongside our team, gaining essential hands-on experience—performing exams, administering treatments, preparing diets, feeding orphaned animals, and supporting releases.
